Terms & Conditions
1. Booking
(a) Your booking is not considered definite and no contract will exist until we receive a 50% deposit from you and you agree to these terms and conditions.
(b) We do not share customer details with any third parties.
2. Payment
(a) The price is the exact amount to be received by us in US Dollars.
3. Your Travel Arrangements
All travel arrangements are your responsibility and at your own cost. We shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or issues related to third-party providers or travel documentation.
4. Travel Insurance
(a) Travel insurance is highly recommended. Your policy should cover retreat activities, cancellations, medical situations, and unexpected events.
5. Your Health, Environment & Natural Conditions
(a) It is your responsibility to inform your instructors of any injuries and to be mindful of your physical limits. You must stop any activity if discomfort or injury occurs.
(b) You are responsible for ensuring you are physically and mentally fit to participate in all activities offered (yoga, surf, HIIT, hiking, etc.).
(c) We reserve the right to decline or stop participation if we believe the retreat may not be suitable for your wellbeing or that of others.
(d) Del Alma Retreat is located in Costa Rica, in a rural area, fully immersed in nature. Our spaces are surrounded by jungle, which means that insects (mosquitoes, ants, spiders, etc.), animals, humidity, sounds, and outdoor elements are part of the environment at all times.
(e) While we take all reasonable measures (cleaning, maintenance, fumigation), it is not possible to eliminate insects, animals, or natural conditions. This is not a controlled or urban environment.
(f) By booking your stay, you acknowledge and accept that:
- You may encounter insects and wildlife at any time, including inside rooms.
- Weather conditions (rain, storms, humidity, heat) may affect comfort and activities.
- Some activities may be modified, rescheduled, or canceled due to safety concerns (weather, ocean conditions, etc.).
- These conditions are part of the experience and do not constitute valid grounds for complaints, refunds, or compensation.
(g) If you are not comfortable with insects, animals, or being in close contact with nature, this retreat is not suitable for you.
(h) The property includes uneven terrain, outdoor paths, and natural surfaces. We are not responsible for injuries related to these conditions.
(i) Del Alma Retreat is located approximately one hour away from the nearest hospital or major medical facility. By booking, you acknowledge that emergency services may be limited or delayed.
6. Cancellation by You
(a) Cancellations are non-refundable. We will give you credit and reschedule under availability.
(b) No refunds will be given for unused portions of the retreat.
7. Amendments by Us
We reserve the right to modify schedules, activities, instructors, or accommodations when necessary.
8. Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel a retreat under any circumstances.
9. Liability
(a) Activities are undertaken at your own risk.
(b) We are not liable for:
- Injuries, health issues, or accidents
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
- Delays, cancellations, or changes beyond our control
- Discomfort or incidents caused by natural environment, insects, animals, or weather conditions
10. Conduct & Responsibility
Del Alma Retreat is a smoke-free, alcohol-free environment. Guests not respecting these rules may be asked to leave without refund.
